The Idea of Studying Less & Scoring More Is Similar To Eating More & Get Thinner, but Luckily The First One Is Able To Apply, and I’m Going To Explain It Now.

A Professor Made A Lecture Talking About Study Less, Study Smart. This Post Is A Summary For That Lecture, Where I’m Going To Provide You With The Most 4 Important Tips In That Lecture.

1-Breaks & Rewards. An Experiment Done Said That Study Until You Come To A Point Where You Start Reading & Don’t Understand Anything. All of Us Start Studying Fully Focused, but With Time Our Focus Decreases Until We Reach A Point That We Only Read. From This Experiment, They Deduced That The Time For Studying A Person Can Focus Well Is From 25 To 30 Minutes. Therefore, Your Studying Should Not Exceed 25/30 Minutes. Then, You Take A Break Up To 10 Minutes, Anything That Gives You Energy To Study Again. Don’t Let Time Steal You, You Can Do Anything In The Break Away From Your Phone.

2- Studying Area. Most of Us Study In His Room Which Is His Sleeping Room & Especially On Our Bed. This Is A Bad Thing Because Our Mind Connects Between These Things 7 The Work, Since When You Study On Your Bed, You Start Getting Tired Until You Sleep. Also, When You Are Studying In The Sitting Room, You Are Resisting To Turn on The Television. Maybe You Pretend It Normal, but What You Don’t Know Is That You Spend A Big Part of Your Focus Resisting To Get The Remote & Turn The T.V, To Sleep At The Bed, or Go To The Kitchen & Eat Something. The Solution Is To Make A Specific Room Just For Studying, If You Aren’t Able To Afford That, You Can Get A Desk Completely For Studying, Away From Games, or Anything That Distracts You. There’s An Experiment Done With College Students, The College Rooms Are So Small & Tight, Everything Is Placed In A Tight Place, So They Told Them To Bring A Lamp & Turn It On When You Study Only, They Called It Studying Lamp. The Point Behind That Is That Without Knowing You Form A Motivation For Your Mind That Whenever You Turn That Lamp, You Are Now In The Studying Mood.

3- Active Learning. When You Open A Book To Study, There’s A Strategy Called SQ3R. It Means When You Want To Study Any Subject, Open The Book & Check It From The Beginning To The End, Such A The Pictures, The Notes, Head Titles, These Thing Will Form in Your Mind Many Questions Such As Why Is This Picture That, So You Will Have Questions You Are Curios To Guess Its Answers, So You Know More What To Study Better Than Storing Irrelevant Information. When You Really Browse The Book, These Are Either Facts, or Concepts. Facts Are Similar To Memorizing a Poetry, Surely The Words Will Be Hard, and if You Memorize It as its is you will surely forget it after 2 or 3 weeks. The Concept It That You Understand The Poetry or Poem Is Talking About What, What Does It Inspire You, So Don’t Memorize Like A Parrot, You Should Understand The Meaning Behind The Words, This Is Called Deep Processing.

4- Teach It To Others. A Famous Saying Says “The Best Thing To Learn Something Is To Teach It To Others”. Whenever You Learn Something New, You Can Tell It To A Person Beside You, Your Parents, Brothers, or Friends. This Will Lead To The Studying Room Point. If You & Your Friends Met In A Library or A Place Away From Distractions, You Will Review Well, Have A Better Conversation, Explain To Your Friends & The Information Will Be More Established. You Can Search For A Studying Group, or Decide To Do That With Your Friends.
